There’s something magical about the High Holidays.
The round challah. The apples and honey. The sound of the shofar. And most of all, the feeling of being home.
For hundreds of Jewish students at Duke, that home is the Fleishman House.
Over the coming weeks, Chabad’s doors will swing open again and again for Rosh Hashanah dinners, soulful services, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Shabbat, and all the singing, eating, laughing, praying, and Jewish joy that comes along with it.
This year, we’re raising $200,000 to make it all possible.
And we’re in this together.
It takes all of us to build a strong, warm, and lasting Jewish community at Duke. Your gift, big or small, puts another chair around the table, another Jewish experience into a young person’s life, and another spark of Jewish pride, connection, and belonging into their soul.
